Northallerton 3rd teams poor run continued as they fell to a 43-12 home defeat against Aireboro. North again suffered with player availability and played the whole game with only 13 men. Northallerton also suffered the late loss of influential lock Mike ‘Evo’ Evans due to a drink related injury.
This then meant another full game for club chairman, and elder statesman Ken Burdass(who may have to start wearing red shorts - meaning please don't tackle as he is an OAP).
North were outclassed throughout the game but as per usual showed remarkable competiveness and team spirit to keep going to the end, with a commendable never say die attitude. North’s tries came from Tim Burke and James ‘Chalkie’ White, with a solitary conversion from Jason Bellian.
Man of the match was awarded to debutant, the son of Chalkie White, James White Junior.

Next week North 3rds are at home again, hopefully to Whitby!
