On behalf of Northallerton RUFC, I would like to wish all our players, supporters, volunteers, parents and sponsors, a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

As the year draws to a wet and blustery close, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the volunteers who's continuing effort is essential to the running and development of our club. From the tea ladies to the coaches, your continuing dedication and hard work is what allows us to continue and thrive as a club.

To all our long-suffering supporters I'd like to thank you for your backing on and off the field. The players appreciate your support from the touch line during the matches. We hope that you have enjoyed the matches that you have been to see this season so far and that we can count on your continuing support into the new year

To our sponsors, many thanks, for your continuing financial support. This helps us to continue to provide a facility where rugby can be played and enjoyed by everyone.

We hope that you have all enjoyed the pre-match lunches so far this year. We have two more planned for the new year. The first is on Saturday 1st February when the 1sts will be receiving Hemsworth. The second one is on Sunday 23rd February before the ladies host Durham City.

Finally
We intend to hold an EGM on Tuesday 4th February at 7pm to vote in the new club constitution that has been prepared by Walker Morris LLP solicitors.
This document will be available at the club and a copy will be posted on the notice board. As well as voting for this document we will also have a vote to fill the vacant club director position, although this is not strictly necessary, we feel that members should have a say in who runs their club. Anyone wanting to submit their name for this position will be required to list their name, a proposer and a then someone to second this on the appropriate form on the notice board by the Saturday 25th January 2025 or email Vicki, club secretary with the details, northrugbysecretary@gmail.com
