Northallerton 1st team entertained Rotherham Phoenix at home and emerged triumphant 57-10. North dramatically improved on last weeks performance and displayed a good all round team performance.
The first half was relatively close with the home team edging it by 3 converted tries to 2, to go in at half time 21-10 in front.
The second half was a completely different story as North dominated from the off and scored 36 unanswered points. Norths tries came from Rhys Kilbride(3), Don Stone(3), John Baker, Dave Barrett, and James Read. Doug Mulholland converting six of the nine tries. Nicholas Bainbridge also nearly got his name on the scoresheet with his first ever try but touched the ball down on the five yard line to the amusement of the fans, players and officials. Final score 57-10, next week North travel to Burley hoping to continue their good form.
