A QUICK ROUND UP

Social Matters

The comedy night was a great success, thanks to all who attended the night.

There was a last minute change to the line up but the acts we had were all fantastic - Bobby Murdock, Jim Bayes, Paul Imrie and the headliner Mike Milligan, the night was compared by John Lebbon.

There is a very a busy calendar for private functions in December so unfortunately there will be no Christmas function this year.

Wild West Night / NFL game is still going ahead on the 2nd of January, tickets are available on here or over the bar at £5.

Rugby Matters

The 1st team are currently on a 5 game winning streak and are sitting 4th in the league. with the return of some player who were missing at the start of the season, we are looking really strong in the run up towards Christmas.

The 2nd team have had mixed performances recently and have struggled for numbers, however they pulled off an impressive win in a close fought game against local rivals Middlesbrough.

We are always looking for more players across the club, so if your looking to get back into the game after the buzz of the RWC then please come on down to training, or alternatively if you've never played before and fancy giving it a go get yourself down.

Junior Section

The juniors continue to develop and numbers are growing slowly, the U7's will have there first game on the 6th of December away to Guisborough.

As with all junior sections we do rely on the help of volunteers, from working in the kitchen serving bacon butties to out on the field coaching, there are lots of roles to fill and we would love it if you could lend a hand.
If you feel you could do anything to help please contact a member of the junior section for more details.
